NSCA-CPT, PN1
In-Person & Remote Coach
With five years of training experience, Josh draws on both his athletic background and personal injury history to guide his coaching. He knows firsthand the frustration of setbacks and takes pride in helping clients overcome similar barriers.
Josh’s approach is simple, relatable, and transparent. He focuses on building sustainable habits through clear guidance, honest communication, and practical strategies that clients can truly own. Known as a “Swiss army knife” in the coaching space, he brings a wide range of skills and modalities to each client, while openly acknowledging when he doesn’t know something—and committing to finding the answer.
He works best with clients who want to improve strength and movement skills, and who value honesty in the process. Clients are often surprised to learn that Josh describes himself as shy at first—though once comfortable, his steady presence and humor shine through.
Outside of coaching, Josh is an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. You can usually find him hiking, disc golfing, running, playing pickleball, or watching football (Go Noles, Go Chiefs). He also enjoys Marvel, Star Wars, DC comics, and video games.
Favorite exercise: Squats (all variations).
Coffee order/snack: Coffee, dessert, chips and salsa, or raw veggies with ranch.
One word clients use: Caring.
“Josh cares about your well-being in and out of the gym — he’s helped me go from shoulder pain to pain-free, and empowered me to make better choices every day.” – Amanda
